One Hundred and Sixty Minutes: The Race to Save the RMS Titanic

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Event Details

On the night of August 14, 1912, the RMS Titanic struck an iceberg and within 160 minutes she sank beneath the waves. We have been told from Titanic mythology that her fate was sealed and that no one could have saved the 1521 people who died that day. The real story is that everyone who froze in the North Atlantic could have been saved if it were not for human failing. Join author William Hazelgrove as he explains how this tragedy could have been averted.
