Event Details

The Bensenville Community Public Library is proud to announce a very special virtual author visit featuring national-bestselling novelist John Sandford — moderated by Newberry Honor winner, Carl Hiaasen! This free virtual program is brought to you in conjunction with over 70 RAILS libraries in Illinois. John Sandford will be discussing his upcoming novel, Ocean Prey.

Fan-favorite heroes Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers join forces when the killings of three federal officers at sea ignite an investigation into a maritime drug cartel—with deadly consequences.

John Sandford is the pseudonym for the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist John Camp. He is the author of 29 Prey novels; 4 Kidd novels; 12 Virgil Flowers novels; 3 YA novels coauthored with his wife, Michele Cook; and 3 other books.

Registration for this live Zoom program is required through our online calendar or by phone; space is limited. All are welcome! Registration closes one day prior to the event. A link to the Zoom event will be emailed to participants after registration closes.
